Justin and Lin’s Waterville Valley wedding took place on Memorial Day weekend, and for this Atlanta wedding photographer, it was a perfect time. I grew up in New England (Connecticut), and I’m not a huge fan of the cold, so the weather was perfect. Justin and Lin picked the Waterville Valley resort when they visited for a 4th of July wedding. They couple lives in Houston, TX. Justin is an accountant and Lin is on her way to receive her MD and PHD; she’s brilliant. Back in March, I went to Houston to meet and photographs Justin and Lin’s engagement session. You can view a view of the images on Instagram. They had a blast and even their dog, Pickles, made a few of the photos. We all know that our four legged kids are part of the family. I love being an Atlanta wedding photographer, but I enjoy traveling for weddings and going to new places.
They came to me after I photographer their friends wedding, Angelee and Mike. Their wedding was on Sunday morning with their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful ceremony. We were watching the weather like a hawk so we were glad when it cleared up. It had been raining all week so we were afraid it would rain that day. It didn’t and they had their beautiful ceremony outside like they wanted. They had a brunch reception because who doesn’t love bring on a Sunday morning.
Later they had a bonfire by the lake and it was awesome. Their waterville valley wedding had come to a closing and we did a few casual portraits with them by the lake.
Thank you to my second shooter, Rob Deza for being awesome. You can view the amazing resort here and book your own wedding.

on June 28, 2017 7:38 PMI remember buttoning up my friend dress one button at a time. Her mom was suppose to do it, but got so frazzled because they were running late (like all weddings) she couldn't . They both looked at me and I figured it out. I love that photo you took, it really tells a story!
