Earlier this month, Curtis and I took a small vacation. Some may say it was forced a bit, because we attended a wedding in Ohio. That geared us up for taking a few extra days after the wedding to visit Curtis’ brother and sister-in-law in Las Vegas. This would be our first time in Las Vegas. We didn’t think it would be so overwhelming, but it was. We did more than just go on the strip as you can see. We visited the Valley of Fire for some hiking. As it is a State park, it was opened (despite the government shutdown). We would have gone to the Grand Canyon but that was closed; next time, hopefully.
We also had Buddy Christ with us during the trip and he went everywhere as you can see below. ENJOY!!!!
The things you see on a hike and Buddy Christ at the top of the Lone Mountain (not in the Bible).
The Garden area inside the Bellagio, the Bellagio Fountains, and the Vegas Strip.
This is what they call Elephant Rock.
Nate and Katrina wanted a jumping picture and they got it. Okay, on the count to three, JUMP!!!
We tried, but Curtis looks scared and I look like a goofball.
Nate and Katrina love goofing around!
I snapped this image as soon as I reached “The Wave“. Everyone was just gathered around taking pictures, and I wanted something different. I also asked one of them to snap a picture of us.
We visited the Valley of Fire on Curtis’ birthday. He’s his portrait from that day.
