The-Barns-at-Wesleyan-HillsThis summer I was able to second shooter for Once Like A Spark at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills and at the Red Lion Inn. Of course, not on the same day! I’m good but not that good. The Barns at Wesleyan Hills is located in Middletown, CT and the Red Lion Inn is located in Cohasset, MA. While these two wedding had similar elements; both ceremonies took place outside and the reception to place in a “barn” type venue, they are very much different. I think my favorite venue out of the two would have to be The Barns at Wesleyan Hills.

First you will see, Michael and Nicole’s wedding at the Barns at Wesleyan Hills. Following that you will see Alyssa and Meghan’s wedding at the Red Lion Inn. I had a blast at both weddings and I could tell everyone else did too! Back to Michael and Nicole’s wedding; they didn’t want a first look, which I think helps make the day smoother, but they did have a blindfold first touch. Not sure if that’s the official name, but we’ll go with that. It was very adorable. It was in the upstairs part of the Barns at Wesleyan Hills, which kept it private. Their flowers were out of this world! After the ceremony, we did some portraits and the party began. They had a sparkler exit, which is awesome!!! I can’t wait to go back to The Barns at Wesleyan Hills because it’s an awesome venue.

Like I said before, these weddings were very different. Alyssa and Meghan had a first look, which gave us the opportunity for more portraits before the ceremony; they had a jewish ceremony, which I love all traditions in a jewish ceremony. Their ketubah was absolutely stunning. The flowers were amazing and Alyssa and Meghan were full of emotions on their special day. Enjoy the images.
