I had the pleasure this Fall of shooting my friends wedding at The Riverview Simsbury CT. The day started out with Morganne and Billy getting ready at their aunt’s house, where they live. Morganne was upstairs with her bridesmaids while Billy was downstairs with the groomsmen. It was a beautiful fall morning. They had their first look under the pergola that Billy built himself. After their first look, we headed over to The Old Drake Hill Bridge also known as The Flower Bridge in Simsbury. It didn’t have flowers because it was a little late in the year, but we got some great images.
Since they wanted to enjoy their cocktail hour, we headed to The Riverview Simsbury CT for some more bridal party portraits. The leaves and the brook behind the venue made it for a very appealing scenery. When we were all done with capturing the love and awesomeness of the bueatiful day, we headed to St. James’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford for their ceremony and then back to The Riverview Simsbury CT for the fabulous reception. The rest is really history. Take a look at their beautiful Fall wedding!

Morganne and Billy’s first look was incredible! Billy was in awe at Morganne’s wedding dress.
The Flower Bridge in Simsbury is a stunning backdrop no matter what time of the year! This the time, the bridge was lacking flowers, but we still made the most of it.
These two love birds are adorable!!!
There’s the something blue sown into Morganne’s wedding dress by her mother. No one said your blue had to show!
After the Flower Bridge, we headed to The Riverview for some more portraits. The back of The Riverview has a wonderful area where it’s just flat and beautiful. The Fall leaves were at their peaks and we had fun with it.
Check out this stunning portrait by Allegra!
The flowers for Morganne and Billy’s wedding were the best I’ve ever seen!!! The colors and the different types of flowers made this bouquet AMAZING!!!
I did a little work in Photoshop for the image below to give it a tilt-shift look.
Thank you Morganne & Billy for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day! It was truly an honor and pleasure.
