I had a blast with Megan and Mike on their Essex Engagement Session in the middle of October. I love the Fall in New England. While Christmas might be the happiest time of the year, I think Fall is the prettiest time of the year. For Megan and Mike’s Essex engagement session, we walked all over Historic Essex. I had never been to Essex, so it was all new to me and I love that little town. It actually reminded me of Mystic a bit. After all, they are both near the water.
For Megan and Mike’s Essex engagement session, they wanted to show case where it kind of all started. They had their first dinner date at the Griswold Inn in Essex. They also had dinner at the Griswold Inn the day Mike proposed to Megan by the dock (see the last image). We had a lot of fun on their Essex engagement session. We walked up and down Main St. We actually walked to the dock about three times; not really sure why, but it was all worth it. We even found a little public access area in between the Country Club and home where I took one of my favorite images of them. I love the dramatic and moody, in a good way, of this image.
Back to Megan and Mike! I ask my couples what they love about their significant other, and I love how every answer is different and yet, I can see it when I meet up with them. For instance, Megan loves how Mike is witty, thoughtful, and romantic. I mean, he proposed to her where they had their first date. Of course he’s a romantic guy. Anyways, I will let you enjoy their engagement session.
