The wedding season has come to an end (this year), so I get to blog a little more. Which means you get to see more images! Today I’m sharing Nicole and Xavier’s Bykenhulle House Wedding. They were married at the Bykenhulle House in late August, and do I wish it was August! Back to reality… Can we talk about the getting ready light for this Bykenhulle House wedding? It was just perfect! Often times, you will find the best light in places light this that one or two windows. While they don’t flood the room with light, it’s just enough to get ready and for the make-up artist to work and for me to create images I love!

Nicole and Xavier wanted a home spun and easy wedding. Like a few of my brides, a lot of help came from friends and family. They created their own bouquets, the board where guests took polaroid pictures and hung them up, and the escort cards for their guests. While the day called for a lot of rain for this Bykenhulle House wedding, it held off until the later afternoon when the ceremony and portraits had been done, which worked out perfectly. The Bykenhulle House is a perfect place to have an intimate wedding for your closests friends and family. It’s nice and secluded, and everyone feels at home, and I can see why Nicole and Xavier picked it for their wedding! Enjoy Nicole and Xavier’s Bykenhulle House wedding.

Let me know what you think!
